| At Daisy Chain we recognise the importance of highly trained and experienced staff and we have invested much time and effort in their recruitment and continued training. All staff have been through a rigorous selection process, which includes background checks by the Criminal Records Bureau and reference follow-ups. All our staff are highly motivated and share a common love of children and you can be sure that your child will receive all the loving care, attention and stimulus that he or she needs in a happy family environment, ensuring you child receives the highest quality of care and education. Daisy Chain has gained the ‘Leeds Quality Assurance’
accreditation. This is an initiative run by Leeds Early Years Partnership
which through training and mentoring aims to ensure quality provision
of play, learning and care for children within Leeds. Daisy Chain Childcare
is one of the first day care providers to be accredited. We also aim to gain the "Quality
In Action" accreditation soon at our new nursery in Rotherham. Our staff also attend regular training courses relevant to childcare
which ensures we are kept up to date and are constantly bringing fresh
ideas to the nursery

Keyworker systemDaisy Chain operates a key worker system, which means that one member of staff will take a special interest and develop a close relationship with you and your child. When you first start nursery, your key worker will discuss with you your child’s likes and dislikes and any routine your child may have. The key worker will be responsible for observing and monitoring your child’s development whilst in the nursery. This will be recorded in your child’s individual development portfolio. These records will be available for you to view at any time and you may make your own comments if you wish. Parents should be confident that any matters discussed with any member of staff would remain confidential, as is our policy. |
